Briefr is a Chrome browser extension and web service that summarizes web articles, PDFs, and YouTube videos into key points using AI. The service is available in a free tier and a paid Pro tier.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Briefr. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

The free tier provides up to 5 summaries per day at no cost. No account is required. Usage limits are enforced via local browser storage and may be adjusted at any time.
The Pro tier is available as a monthly subscription ($4.99/month) or a one-time lifetime payment ($39). Pro features include unlimited summaries, PDF support, YouTube video summarization, and priority support.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a Pro plan, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service at stripe.com/legal.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time by contacting us at hi@getbriefr.app or via your Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for Pro purchases. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 7 days of your purchase, contact us at hi@getbriefr.app and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
After 7 days, refunds are issued at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.
The Lifetime plan is non-refundable after 7 days given its one-time nature.
Briefr and all associated branding, design, and software are the property of Daniel Chinea Delgado. You may not use our name, logo, or trademarks without prior written permission.
Summaries generated by Briefr are derived from content you choose to summarize. You retain responsibility for ensuring you have the right to process that content. Briefr does not claim ownership over the summaries generated from your content.
Briefr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that summaries will be accurate or complete. AI-generated summaries may contain errors or omissions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Daniel Chinea Delgado shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Briefr, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or decisions made based on AI-generated summaries.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect paid users. Lifetime plan holders will be notified of any material reduction in features.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Briefr after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Spain, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
